The purpose of the Polish American Political Action Committee - GORAL (PAPAC - GORAL) is to develop a stronger and clearer voice for Illinois Polish Americans in public affairs. Consisting of a network of individuals dedicated to contributing their knowledge and experience to the healthy development of the community and improving the public's perception of Polonia in Illinois, PAPAC - GORAL is designed to work cooperatively with other existing Polish American organizations.

PAPAC - GORAL is guided by four major goals:

• Increase the number, visibility and influence of Illinois Polish Americans in public affairs.
  
  
• Involve Illinois Polish Americans in the political process.
  
  
• Improve communications among Illinois Polish Americans holding appointed and elective office or involved in public service, campaigns, and public policy.
  
  
• As a registered in Illinois, Political Action Committee, raise political contributions and distribute them to implement the three aforementioned goals.
